- formulate and drive the strategic and corporate communication initiatives to meet organisational needs and developments so as to profile the organisation positively amongst shareholders and stakeholders.

- responsible for planning and implementing development policies and programmes to achieve identified goals

- provide leadership as well as strategic and corporate communication counsel to management in organisational announcements and change-management communication efforts and practices

- propose, own and drive strategic communication plans in line with organisational needs and new developments

- steer, integrate and enhance corporate communication efforts - including branding, identity and image; media relations and cultivation; events management; collaterals; website; community relations and public feedback

- develop and implement internal communication strategies that positively impact the understanding, engagement and commitment of staff, as well as ensuring their alignment with external communications priorities

- conceptualise and implement development programmes for sponsorship, fund-raising and community engagement

> degree preferably in Mass Communication

> minimum ten years experience in communication of which at least three years should be in a managerial capacity

> entrepreneurial mindset due to start-up nature of role

> outstanding writing and presentation skills

> thorough understanding of the principles and practice of effective communications, both external and internal

> excellent planning and execution experience in strategic and corporate communication

> demonstrated ability to work successfully with senior management
