Company Description:Channel Profile 

The Asian Food Channel is all about food and the people who  love it!  Asia's first 24-hour cable  and satellite channel  exclusively dedicated to airing the best food programming  from around the region and around the world, AFC seeks to  entertain, inform, and inspire.  Targeting food lovers of all types, AFC's core audience is  adults 25 to 45, made up of high flyers, modern women, and  discerning foodies.   Exploring all genres of food  programming, AFC broadcasts in the original language  format with subtitling in English, Chinese and other local  Asian languages. 
Requirements:
  • Responsible for advertising and sponsorship sales to advertisers and agencies.
  • Fully accountable for revenue performance and sales projections.
  • Required to develop new business with effective sales strategies.
  • To plan, execute a broad range of trade and mass communication initiatives to promote and increase the channel's awareness and adoption levels.
  • Responsible for budget management, marketing collaterals, PR, partner relationships, planning and executing events and promotions.
  • Resourceful, tenacious with high energy level.
  • At least 4 years experience in regional broadcasting or print.
  • Ability to work independently yet is a good team player.  A people based environment also demands good communication skills and conversant in Mandarin or Bahasa will be a plus.
