Wong returns to head Euro South China
Hong Kong - Dennis Wong, an industry stalwart with close to 30 years of experience, has joined Euro RSCG as group managing director for Hong Kong & Southern China.
Wong returns to the industry after a two year hiatus. He is widely recognised as one of China's most respected ad industry figures. Throughout his nearly 30 years in the industry, he has worked at agencies including BBDO, JWT, Leo Burnett and most recently Grey.
Based in Hong Kong, Wong will be tasked with helping to grow the Southern China operations, reporting to Euro's chairman for North Asia, Joseph Wang.
Wang described Wong as one of the most talented and experienced China managers, having successfully led a number of multinational agencies through "unprecedented growth" in Hong Kong and Greater China.
"He's built integrated organizations that grew the Hong Kong agency while simultaneously upgrading the Southern China offering with strong, local teams. That is precisely what we want to achieve: integrating our strong digital offering in Hong Kong with one of China's strongest field marketing operations - Euro RSCG FieldForce," Wang said.
Wong's appointment kicks in from 5 January next year.
