Peoples to push its multi-number service
Hong Kong - Teleco giant China Mobile Peoples has rolled out a marketing campaign to create noise about its upgraded version of the 1-card-multi-number service.
The new and improved 1-card-multi-number service is a key product launch this year aimed at frequent travellers to China to allow them to enjoy a more convenient choice in mobile communication.
The current 1-card-multi-number services in the market does not allow customers to bring their existing China mobile numbers, instead they have to create a new China mobile number in order to have two mobile numbers in one sim card.
However, China Mobile Peoples "1-card-multi-number service" enables customers to keep their existing China mobile numbers to enjoy the service, making the company the only operator in Hong Kong to allow China mobile number port-in.Carol Chung, group account director for Grey Hong Kong said the consumer insight for the campaign is for those who need to travel frequently across China and Hong Kong, they need a convenient mobile communication for them to maintain a close relationship with family, relatives, friends and co-workers.
Therefore, the key message of the campaign is that "China Mobile Peoples "1-card-multi-number service" allows China mobile number port-in, which helps you to maintain every important relationship".
Chung added that the campaign aims to leverage the launch of 1-card-multi-number to uplift the brand image for China Mobile Peoples.
The campaign, which will run for two months, is broadcast in TV, print and outdoor. Mediacom handles media buying and planning for this campaign.
