Singapore - Nielsen Online and Hitwise have placed several Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) sites in the list of top 10 websites in Singapore across several categories.
In the Hitwise Top 10 Awards for the period July to September 2008, SPH took top spots in the following nice categories including www.zaobao.com for print news and media, www.st701.com for shopping and classifiedsm and www.hardwarezone.com for IT news and media among others.
Simialrly, for Nielsen Online's Weekly Top 10 sites, SPH portals occupied six of the top 10 placings for local sites based on domestic page impressions.
"It also acknowledges the teams' effective marketing, which resulted in the top-of-mind recall amongst netizens," Felix Soh, digital media editor for SPH's English and Malay newspapers division, said.
