Bizarre HR: Army general turns dancer

Thailand - If you ever wonder why your male aerobics instructor is so gruff and burly, it could be because he is actually an army general in disguise.

According to Reuters, a Thai general who had threatened to bomb anti-government protesters and drop snakes on them from helicopters has been reassigned to work as an aerobics teacher.

Major-general Khattiya Sawasdipol obviously did not take his new job with much enthusiasm. Speaking to the press, he said, "It is ridiculous to send me, a warrior, to dance at markets."

He continued, "The army chief wants me to be a presenter leading aerobics dancers. I have prepared one dance. It's called the 'throwing-a-hand-grenade' dance."
