Microsoft "achieves more" for local economy
Hong Kong - Just days after pledging continued investments in the Chinese economy, Microsoft has launched an "Achieve More" campaign, introducing technology solutions to for small and medium-sized enterprises.
While shifting its focus on software development, the company has adopted direct marketing communication tactic to approach over 20,000 IT and business customers as well as its partners in Hong Kong.
Microsoft has spent HK$1.5 million on the program, aiming to educate SMEs how to use IT to save money.
Yesterday hundreds of viewers were invited to a lecture event organized by Waggener Edstrom.
Christine Cheung, server business group lead, business marketing organization of Microsoft Hong Kong, said SMEs drive economic growth in Hong Kong and this private sector makes up 98% of the business and employ more than 50% of the workforce locally.
