Singapore - Microsoft Advertising is bringing its Mouse Awards to Asia and the winners will be automatically entered into the Cyber Lions and be flown to Cannes as guests of the company.
Currently its fifth year in Europe, the Mouse Awards are Microsoft Advertising's annual advertising awards. Creative and media agencies from Asia are invited to enter their best work from five categories like charity, NGOs & public services; consumer goods/FMCG; financial services; telecoms; media & entertainment; transport and travel (including automotive).
In addition to these categories, there will be a Grand Prix award given to the overall winner. The ads need to have run on Microsoft Network sites like Windows Live Hotmail, Live Messenger, Live Spaces or micro sites from 1 March to 28 February.
"The findings of a recent Synovate PAX survey have confirmed the Internet's immense rearch and engagement in this region. The Awards will actively promote creative talent and set- benchmarks while the evolution of the platform with our industry leading tools and products," Geert Desager, trade marketing manager for Microsoft Advertising SE Asia, said.
Last year's Mouse's Grand Prix winner, Lean Mean Fighting Machine, also bagged Interactive Agency of the Year at the Cyber Lions in Cannes.
