Ex-Bharti Airtel to boss IPS India

India - Invensys Process Systems (IPS) has appointed Vijay Srinivasan as managing director of India Subcontinent region. 

In his new role, Srinivasan will be responsible for spearheading the entire operations of IPS in the India subcontinent, overseeing the company's growth and expansion in the region.

Prior to this, he was chief operating officer, Enterprise Services, Western Region, at Bharti Airtel.

"Vijay is a proven business leader who will consolidate our presence and lead our growth in the India Subcontinent, which is critical for the overall success of IPS in Asia Pacific. India is on a high-growth trajectory with significant new investments in core sectors, and we hope to strengthen our position with Vijay on board," Lawrence Wee, president of Asia Pacific for IPS, said.
