Singapore - Danamon has extended its contract with one year-old start-up Activiste, with the agency to work on the Indonesian bank's brand activation on a retainer basis.
Activiste was tasked to work on its repositioning and branding strategies when the bank formerly known as Bank Danamon was rebranded to Danamon.
"We have worked closely with Activiste for a year and will be continuing with them for another six months or longer: Initially in the development of a brand strategy for Danamon and then subsequently in managing and direction the repositioning of the bank and its subsidiary brands. This integrated and holistic approach to strategy development and activation has enabled us to align all the various lines of businesses and creative agencies we work with, under a single brand proposition in the marketplace," Subba Vaidyanathan, Brand Task Force Leader at Danamo, said.
The agency is currently in the process of integrating all the various lines of business which Danamon owns into the umbrella brand and will work on diverse aspects of the bank's marketing communications including advertising, media relations, and internal communications. It also previously worked on a brand strategy program for NUS, which has extended to brand activation and communications on a retainer basis.
Activiste was established by ex-Interbrand Singapore chairman Kim Faulkner last year with Acorn Research & Marketing founding partners Cheah Kim Lean and Kwan Chong Wah. Other agency clients include Millenium & Copthorne, Eastern & Oriental Group, and At-Sunrice Culinary Academy.
