Far East media to Starcom

Singapore - Far East Organisation has handed its local media account to Starcom MediaVest Singapore, displacing incumbent OMD, following a six-way pitch.

Gan Boon Guan, Starcom CEO, confirmed the "big" win, adding that the account would be led by director Pat Goh. Far East Organisation is Singapore's largest property developer, and Adex figures put the account worth at around $12 million.

Far East Organization, together with its Hong Kong-based sister company Sino Group, is one of Asia's largest real estate groups. Locally, the company is set to launch its new retail property, Orchard Central in the first quarter of 2009.
