Isobar and Baidu tie up search deal

China - Isobar has stepped up its expansion into Greater China, announcing its search engine tools will be integrated into one of China's leading search portals Baidu.com.

Isobar-owned Chinese digital agency wwwins Consulting will serve as the arm to deliver this integrated search service to global and domestic clients in the Greater China region by launching the iProspect brand in China. 

In a statement, Isobar said the integration allows the company to manage search campaigns across every major search engine globally as well as to provide clients with improved efficiency, stronger business results and strong return on their search marketing and digital media investment.

Hao Yu Shen, Baidu's vice president of business operations, said he expects the partnership to strengthen Baidu's marketing channel and bolster the sites the offering to client.

"As the leading Chinese language search engine, it is beneficial to us to work with the world-class digital agencies, like wwwins, who have demonstrated tremendous resources globally," Hao said.
