Flattery to run Carat Engage

Australia - Carat has set up a new division called Carat Engage and appointed Tim Flattery to lead the new team in all aspects of engagement media. 

Carat Engage is the evolution of Carat Activate division, which has been operating for four years. It adds other engagement marketing services including brand-funded content and online social media marketing and tracking to the line-up of existing services.

Flattery, who will oversee the group's branded entertainment and contents, was director of content for the Mitchell Communication Group where he produced one of Australia's first brand-funded prime time TV series Sudden Impact for Channel Nine. He also spent two years as head of TV and New Media Development for Becker Entertainment, creating and producing TV series for clients in the US.

"This appointment reflects our mantra of creating consumer connections. Tim's credentials are second to none and his ability to construct engaging communications solutions will future proof our clients as the media industry continues to evolve," Martin Cowie, MD of Carat Sydney, said.
