Publicis strengthens Citibank team

Singapore - Former BBDO/Proximity Singapore business director for the SingTel account, Catherine Lim, is set to join Publicis Singapore as regional business director for Citibank.

In this new role, which she starts on 1 December, Lim will run the Citibank regional and Citibank Singapore business.

Ambba Kuthiala, Publicis Singapore's general manager/regional business director - Hub, said: "She [Lim] has worked on varied businesses and managed large teams. Her leadership qualities and passion for this business will add value to the agency and further strengthen our relationship with clients."

Lim joined BBDO eight months ago and, at the time, was touted by BBDO CEO Jean-Paul Burge as a "significant appointment for the agency" given her "solid background running large-scale accounts" and familiarity with the SingTel account. Since her recent departure from BBDO, the agency has filled the gap internally.
