Profero enters the hive
Singapore – Digital outfit Profero has globally rebranded its social media offering to be known as The Hive.
The rebranding covers Profero’s existing social media department of 50 people from strategy, media, creative and technology across the world, and also covers the agency’s Europe partner Plan.Net which has teams in Hamburg, Moscow, Munich, Paris and Zurich.
The Hive will act as a focal point for any clients looking for advice within social media and will offer content creation, paid social media involvement, seeding and social media monitoring. It will initially be led by Profero’s Europe CEO Daniele Fiandaca, CEO (Europe), although each local team will have a strategic lead.
"People spend half or more of their time online talking,” John Ng, managing director of Profero Singapore, said in a statement.
“The inherent nature of the Internet as a medium nurtures this. For me, good digital strategies should trigger conversations both offline and online and because Profero has always done that, from the very beginning, The Hive is our way of reinforcing this commitment."
Profero said its social media capabilities have already been used to create several success campaigns, such as for Buena Vista International in Singapore and for Universal Music in Australia.
