TENA creates senior branding and comms role

Hong Kong - Lucien Harrington, former MD of Advertising Plaza, has joined Turner Entertainment Networks Asia as vice president of branding & communications.

Based in TENA's regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Lucien will work with Turner's senior executive team to develop brand and communication strategies.

The new role has been created to establish the strategic direction for each of TENA's entertainment brands and provide overall leadership to marketing, creative services and public relations.

Lucien joins TENA from Advertising Plaza and previously held the position of vice president of marketing a the Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific.

Soumitra Saha, senior vice president and GM at TENA, said the entertainment division of Turner is one of its fastest growing divisions, having grown from one network in 1994 to 12 successful networks and 12 online entertainment destinations.

"Given Lucien's solid international and regional experience, he will build on this momentum to align the inherent strengths of all our brands across platforms to cement relationships, engage key audience and deliver on the brand promise to the Network's various stakeholders," Saha said.
