Singapore - SM Motors has shifted its Volvo account to Rocket X Media following a four-way closed door pitch which incumbent Euro RSCG did not take part in.
Rocket X Media has held automobile accounts previously with Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Harley-Davidson, and will now manage Volvo's advertising and promotion portfolio in Singapore.
"Rocket X has demonstrated sound and in-depth knowledge of the current automobile market, very interesting creative ideas for Volvo's upcoming new XC60 launch, as well as an innovative approach towards tactical campaigns. We are happy to have them onboard with us," Victor Kwan, GM for SM Motors, said.
Volvo are also title sponsors of the challenging yacht race, the Volvo Ocean Race, which makes its debut in Singapore as the fourth leg of the round-the-world competition. The race is expected to sail into Singapore waters from Kochi, India, around the final week of December.
