Hong Kong - The Hong Kong Economic Journal has inked an exclusive online ad sales deal with Pixel Media for selling advertising and sponsorships on its website.
Under the agreement, HKEJ.com will also tap Pixel Media's proprietary ad serving and management technology, AiMs on its website. The ad targeting technology will enable advertisers to reach their target audience online with a variety of features such as geotargeting and reporting to meet their marketing objectives.
HKEJ launched its website in July this year as a subscription-based feature that has more than 7,000 subscribers with more than 110,000 unique visits per month comprising a readership of mainly professionals, managers and business owners.
Pandora Ip, head of business development for HKEJ, said the company partnered with Pixel because of its extensive advertiser network in the region.
Pixel Media is targeting advertisers from the financial services, luxury goods, property, travel sectors, technology and mobile.
Winky Chan (pictured), managing director for Pixel Media said, in difficult times, companies will become even more ROI focused.
"Online advertising being more accountable, will be more effective as a platform to launch their marketing campaigns," she said.
