Hong Kong - Forbes Asia has promoted Raymond Warhola as executive director to oversee Forbes Asia and its events division for the markets of North Asia and North America.

As part of his job, Warhola, previously North American director for Forbes Asia, will oversee Forbes events including its Global CEO Conference. Prior to his promotion he was based in New York.

"Even amidst the global economic turmoil, there are still many business opportunities for marketers to leverage on and to strengthen their brands with the Forbes media platform," Warhola said.

William Adamopoulos, President and Publisher of Forbes Asia, said Warhola's extensive experience with the regional print media and keen understanding of the Asian business is invaluable.

Prior to Forbes Asia, Warhola served as vice president, sales director for Investor's Business Daily and spent four years in Hong Kong as director of advertising for the
Asian Wall Street Journal.
