Balakrishnan on the Band-wagon

Singapore - Band Public Relations has hired Shawn Balakrishnan to the regional role of account director for its APAC offices.

The former senior account manager for Lewis PR will also lead the further development of the Band's digital practice. Balakrishnan's position will cover the offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China, and he will report to Band's group CEO, Ian Bickerton.

"Shawn is known for his inspired creativity, strong counsel, great judgement and producing fantastic results for his clients. His considerable talents in client servicing and team management will serve band well in this important leadership position," Bickerton said.

Balakrishnan was at Lewis for three and a half years, and left the agency in mid-August.
