Singapore - MasterCard unveiled its revamped privileges website ‘MasterCard Moments' yesterday - moving away from discounted deals and opting for more experiential offerings.
Other than premium travel benefits, the new website includes improved features like better site navigation and visuals as well as a wish list function for cardholders to save their ‘favourite moments' and share it with others too.
Through extensive data MasterCard collected from its research on " Online Shopping in Asia/Pacific - Patterns, Trends and Future Growth", it has ascertained that 87% of consumers use the internet daily and electronic trade has seen growth, with the population likely to reach 819.4 million by 2010.
To leverage on this strong growth Natalie Lockwood, group head of regional marketing for MasterCard Worldwide, has made it the company's aim to "better cater to the lifestyle needs" of its customers. Hence by launching the revamped website puts it in a better position to offer to its cardholders easier access to exclusive and unique deals.
The English-language website was last revamped two years ago. Other language versions like Chinese and Japanese languages will be launched in the coming months.
