Singapore - Proximity Asia's regional MD Simon Bond has been promoted and will relocate to take on the newly created post of global head of business development for Proximity Worldwide.
Replacing Bond in his Asian role is Richard Fraser, who is currently based in New Zealand as AIM Proximity's national planning director. He will head over to Singapore on 15 October. Fraser has worked with various clients such as Aviva, Citibank, Fonterra, Mars and Mercedes. Prior to joining Proximity four years ago, he was Conduit Marketing's marketing management director in New Zealand.
Bond helped launched the Proximity Singapore office in 2004 and was previously based in other BBDO/Proximity offices in Paris, London and the Middle East. He will be reporting to Andrew Robertson, president and CEO of BBDO Worldwide and take on the his new role in the first quarter of 2009.
