Tuesday: Commodity Manager

Singapore - Reporting to the global director, the candidate will manage the procurement and supply chain for commodity groups, lead supplier management efforts and develop supply sourcing strategies.

Role description:

Client is a pioneering pharmaceutical company, renowned for their innovative approach to developing new products.

Reporting to the global director, you will be responsible for:

• managing the procurement & supply chain for particular commodity groups, supporting operational requirements and identifying suppliers of materials across the network
  

• leading supplier management efforts and developing supply sourcing strategies to reduce costs whilst ensuring continuity of supply and maintaining quality levels.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a business, supply chain or engineering related degree with at least 10 years' relevant work experience and a strong background in category/commodity management. He/She must enjoy working in an innovative environment, show strong initiative and have solid business acumen. Excellent influencing, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
