Hong Kong - JCDecaux Transport has appointed Amy Chan, former general manager for JCDecaux China, Shanghai Bus to replace outgoing Teresa Fung as deputy managing director of MTR Advertising.
In her new role, Chan will be overseeing the management and operations of all aspects of MTR advertising business including MTR, Airport Express Line and Digital Vision, as well as Swire Properties, Asia World-Expo and Ngong Ping 360 projects.
She reports directly to Stephen Wong, CEO for JCDecaux Greater China.
Wong said, "I am certain her appointment will enable us to continue with our successful business strategy which has put MTR advertising a clear market leader for years."
He added with the market expected to go through some tough times ahead, her extensive management experience will be very useful in ensuring a high level of sales service and delivery execution "to help our clients ride out these difficult times".
Chan has more than 10 years of media industry experience having spent the last two years as general manager for JCDecaux China, Shanghai Bus responsible for managing sales and oeprations of bus advertising. Prior to that, she served as wealth director for NAB group managing sales of investment funds with major international funds and before that as a sales director for Next Magazine.
