Hong Kong - Yahoo! Hong Kong has partnered with PCCW Directories to launch Yahoo! Exclusive Keyword and Yahoo! WHERE to enable advertisers to gain digital visibility on a budget.
“The Internet is now crucial to searching for, and finding out more about companies, products and services – but market research shows that many entities, particularly small-to-medium-sized enterprises, don't have a web-page or are unaware of how to attract traffic to their sites. This leaves them at a competitive disadvantage. Blending our understanding of advertiser needs, Internet skills and an excellent working relationship with Yahoo! Hong Kong, we can overcome these issues and increase return on investment for advertisers,” Lindsay Servian, executive vice president of advertising & interactive services PCCW said.
The two new internet advertising solutions, Yahoo! WHERE and Yahoo! Exclusive Keyword will be sold exclusively through PCCW Directories.
Yahoo! WHERE is a search service featuring information on local restaurants andretailers including outlet description, product and service highlights, map and discount coupons.
Yahoo! Exclusive Keyword allows advertisers to buy “keyword combos” like
company name and business nature or district, which will be displayed in business
card style at the top of the Yahoo! Hong Kong search result page.

Yahoo! Hong Kong and PCCW Directories will also host a half-day seminar next month on “How to launch your company on the Web and be seen cost effectively” to help companies benefit from online advertising.
