Singapore - VisitBritain has selected Ogilvy to work on it's creative brief for the youth market in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia with ZenithOptimedia to handle media buying across the Asia Pacific.

Iris will also work with the National tourism agency, but outside of the Ogilvy-created youth campaign.

"This is the first time for many years that we have conducted a tender process in Singapore and we were overwhelmed by the creativity and quality of the responses we received," Emma Paris, PR and communications manager for VisitBritain, SE Asia, said.

Paris said the decision to roster two agencies for the creative work was based on the diversity of the group's campaigns and target demographics.

"We feel that a combination of agencies will be the best solution to deliver our marketing across the region over the next three years," she added.

The tender process began in June and selected agencies will work on both VisitBritain driven campaigns as well as partner campaigns across the three markets. The range of activities cover tactical and brand advertising, online marketing, with a strong focus on the digital environment and media buying.
