Vietnam - FedEx Express launched a new Airbus A310 service to Vietnam which will increase the company's capacity into and out of the country fivefold.
The new service is expected improve transit times into and out of the capital, and increase capacity five times to over 30,000kg a day.
"The transformation of Vietnam's economy over the past 15 years has seen Vietnam emerge as a powerful economic force in this region," said David L Cunningham Jr, president of FedEx Express Asia Pacific.
The new service and FedEx enhancement applies to all FedEx International Priority shipments destined for addresses in International Economy Asia, Europe and the US, FedEx said in a statement.
The company established its operations in Vietnam in 1994.
