Singapore – In a bid to create awareness for its new media campaigns - costumed mascots representing mocca.com, rawclips on podcast.sg and styleweddings.sg took to the streets a guerilla marketing stunt to promote interactivity.
"With our digital palette of web portals available, we are able to offer relevant digital slice-of-life to everyone in Singapore and Asia. Besides aggregating and providing unique content from MediaCorp news, radio, print and TV, we believe everyone on the street, at home, in school and in the office, play an important part in shaping the future of our digital media and user interaction will always be a key element in our new media equation," Timothy Goh, VP for new media business and CRM at MediCorp, said.
The entourage paraded between Scotts Road and Orchard Road with speech bubbles “shouting” the MediaCorp's website profiles and features. The media owner also tried to canvass for more Mocca members, enticing new registrants by giving them a chance to win an Apple iPhone.
