Hong Kong - BBC international will launch a marketing campaign to drive awareness and tune-in for the BBC's multimedia coverage of the US08 election.
The marketing campaign, which runs across radio, TV, print and online media, will communicate how US government policies affect not just America, but also the rest of the world.
Using the strapline "the vote that affects your world" the campaign shows how the election will impact the world, and explains how the BBC's coverage will bring its audiences a unique global perspective on the election.
The campaign will run from mid-October through to the election night in early November. The activity includes print and online ads (including ads on bbc.com), plus promotions across BBC World Service radio, BBC World News and BBC America.
RedCard, a subsidiary of Ogilvy Group Singapore, devised the creative for the print and online ads. The radio promotions were devised by the in-house team at BBC World Service and BBC World News and BBC America joined forces to create the television promotions.
