Trade Council looks for online ad revenue
Hong Kong - The Hong Kong Trade Development Council has opened its online portal to advertisers and appointed Pixel Media to manage its online sales.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council is the global marketing arm and public service hub for Hong Kong-based manufacturers, traders and service exporters.
Pixel Media said major brand advertisers including Hang Seng Bank, CSL, SmarTone-Vodafone, and Lenovo have already signed up for advertising on hktdc.com.
The HKTDC's activities are geared to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the chief drivers of Hong Kong's trade.
"Hktdc.com is a trusted online marketplace that connects quality suppliers and genuine buyers," said a Pixel Media statement.
"The site is highly effective in reaching the SME market segment in Hong Kong and around the world and has average monthly page views of over 30 million while reaching over 800,000 users per month made up of suppliers and buyers."
The site will carry homepage super banners, tile ads, and display advertising formats.
