Shanghai - Online video advertising group Click to See Media, has appointed former ZenithMedia managing director Stewart Li as chief commercial officer.
Li (pictured) has been tasked to lead sales and business development for CTS Media, which has grown to become a video and ad-network partnered with more than 100 online broadcasters with a portfolio of local and international clients.
He will report directly to CTS Media CEO Allen Law.
"Stewart is one of the few senior media experts in Greater China with significant experiences from all sides," Law said.
"I belive Stewart will continue on his previous successes by taking CTS Media's businesses to another level."
Li said with China's online population now at 250 million people, CTS Media has bigger potential because of its focus on digital and IP video products.
"We have been talking about consumers in control of media for years. CTS Media really facilitates this because our two major products: online video and IPTV; allowing Chinese consumers to watch their selected content according to their schedule."
Li has more than 20 years media sales and advertising experience from his recent role as managing director for ZenithMedia China and Carat Hong Kong including general manager at TBWA Hong Kong.
CTS Media holds exclusive advertising rights on four key video portals in China, Baidu Video, MSN China Video, Shanghai Media Group and Xin Hua Media.
It is also the exclusive ad partner for Shanghai Media Group's IPTV product in Shanghai and eight other key markets.
