Singapore - Fleishman-Hillard has appointed two senior executives to boost its technology communications and CSR expertise.
Vishwesh Iyer has been hired as SVP and group manager, SE Asia technology and telecommunications practice, while Mandy Balla-Kellett joins as VP, CSR and change management practice. The appointments follow a series of departures that took place over the last couple of months. Some of them include Karen Ho and Gavin Foo, who decided to strike off their own.
According to Fleishman-Hillard SE Asia MD, Tham Kok Wing, the appointments strengthen the firm's technology communications background, while establishing new capabilities in the fast-growing change management and CSR arenas.
Iyer, who comes with over 18 years of experience in media, was previously working with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, India as the senior partner, technology practice.
Balla-Kellett comes from Australian telco Telstra and has more than 15 years experience in the industry. She has been tasked to spearhead the new CSR and change management capability, with a view to providing clients with strategic input at a business level in Singapore as well as around the region.
"In addition to working for leading companies across the technology spectrum, Iyer brings valuable experience with corporate and financial institutions that are strategic adopters of technology. Balla-Kellett is a CSR and change management specialist who has consulted on best-in-class campaigns for industry leaders who have built stellar reputations in corporate citizenship," Tham added.
