OMD appoints Taiwan MD

Taiwan - OMD has appointed ex-Bates Asia executive, Deryk Tang as MD of its Taiwan office.

Tang's most recent assignment at Bates Asia was executive director responsible for media business, strategic planning, public relations and new business development. "Taiwan presents to me an attractive career challenge, as I believe there are huge opportunities in developing integrated media services while we redefine 'media' to include not only the different consumer touch points but also the way we interact and engage the consumer to make an impactful communication. Taiwan offers a very flexible and dynamic media environment to enable the transition," he said.
