Friday: Sourcing manager

Singapore - The successful candidate will be responsible for develop sourcing strategies and maintain total value chain for best procurement practices, and negotiate and establish supply agreements with vendors and undertake evaluations of vendor qualifications, ensuring their quality management complies with the company's legal, ethical, ethical and environmental policies.

Role description:

Client is a market leading MNC with a strong global presence in the food and beverage/FMCG industry.

Reporting to the regional manager and general manager, you will be responsible for:

• Sourcing ingredients and managing relationships with external vendors including sugar, dairy and flavour suppliers throughout Asia
• Developing sourcing strategies and maintain total value chain for best procurement practices, and negotiate and establish supply agreements with vendors
• Undertaking evaluations of vendor qualifications, ensuring their quality management complies with the company's legal, ethical, ethical and environmental policies

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have 7-10 years' experience within a procurement and supply chain environment, preferably with a sourcing focus. He/She must display excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with experience liaising with vendors from the FMCG, food and beverage industry. He/She also must have a strong background in project management, possess strong commercial and financial acumen and display excellent communication skills.
