Singapore - ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has won the global commercial rights to broadcast the Cricket's Champions League Twenty20 until 2017.
The deal includes TV, internet, mobile and radio rights, event sponsorship, ground rights and merchandising rights around the property.
"Through our television channels - ESPN, STAR Sports & STAR Cricket, our website espnstar.com, and our wireless platforms mobileESPN and STAR Sports Mobile, we are confident of taking the Champions League Twenty20 to new heights by working along with the various partners involved and are committed to set benchmarks in broadcast and distribution," Manu Sawhney, MD of ESPN STAR Sports, said.
ESS also holds the exclusive global telecast rights by the International Cricket Council for its events till 2015.
