Hong Kong - The research office of Changping district in Beijing has commissioned Ogilvy Hong Kong to drive its brand building and promotional campaign to transform Changping into a modern district.
Ogilvy will collaborate with several parties from Ogilvy Beijing, Polanis Financial Consultancy, Beijing Tsinghua University to the local town development officials in the "brand building project of Changping district of Beijing" to reengineer the district into a first class modern community.
The team will analyse Changping's current situation from several perspectives such as culture, resources, nature, industry positioning, image and branding.
Guan Cheng Hua, party secretary of district, Changping, Beijing, People's Republic of China said: "We trust that Ogilvy Hong Kong, as a part of the world's largest integrated marketing agencies, will be able to apply its global vision and expertise to transform Changping into a truly remarkable modern star in our Capital."
Royce Yuen, chairman for Ogilvy Hong Kong, said being a "360 degree brand stewardship advocate", the agency will provide analysis and suggestions on Changping's brand positioning, promotion strategies and direction to meet its long-term aspirations.
Changping is located in the northwest region of Beijing, the central countryside of the capital also known as "the Pillow of the Capital". It will take the lead in the development of and production of advanced technology, travel services and education.
