Malaysia Marketing magazine launch imminent

Asia's Marketing magazine group moved a step closer to its third launch in its stable of editions with the arrival of group editorial director Tony Kelly in the company's new Kuala Lumpur office today.

Kelly has relocated to Malaysia to assist Marketing Malaysia editor Llew-Ann Phang in building the team and launching the magazine with the full weight of the company, publisher Lighthouse Independent Media, behind it.

The Malaysian edition is the third for the Marketing brand, which has existed as the leading source of news, opinion and strategy for marketing, agency, media and online professionals since 2002 and enjoys a combined Asia-wide audited circulation of well over 20,000.

"Marketing magazine is the premier source for market intelligence in this industry in the markets we operate in. Those who are already receiving the newsletter and have seen our introductory sample will know we intend to bring the same integrity, timeliness, and strategic thinking from across the region to Malaysia when we launch in November." Kelly says.

Marketing magazine's launch edition in Malaysia will be in November.

"You will find genuinely fresh and original content, a strong focus on editorial integrity and a genuinely entertaining read and a strong connection to the market here. We are throwing everything at this launch, which is why I have moved to KL to help push it through," Kelly said.

"While we have been very transparent about our plans - we also have a few surprises up our sleeves which we hope will surprise and delight the market - in a sense the magazine is just the Trojan horse, there is a lot of high-value offerings in the pipeline for our market and agency audience."  

Asia's original Marketing magazine is published by Lighthouse Independent Media, which also operates offices and prints editions in Singapore and Hong Kong.
