Momentum hires Tsang as MD
Beijing - Momentum, the event marketing arm of McCann Worldgroup, has appointed Benjamin Tsang as the managing director responsible for the overall business in Beijing and Shanghai.
He replaces Nathan Yin who has left for personal reasons and will be reporting to TH Peng, CEO and director for McCann Worldgroup Greater China and Kevin McNulty, CMO for Momentum Worldwide.
"As Momentum grows exponentially in China, it is critical that we have a leader like Ben in this role - someone who not only deeply understands our business and the market, but has long-standing relationships with key business leaders that will help us move our clients' business forward," Peng and McNulty said.
Prior to Momentum, Tsang was previously managing director of Arc Northern China and before that Leo Burnett Beijing. The Hong Kong Chinese has 18 years of agency and brand management experience in the Chinese advertising industry with 10 years at management level. Brands he served include Philip Morris, Wrigley, Heinz, Amway, TCL, Sony Ericsson, Li-Ning and China Construction Bank.
