Luxury mags tussle over size
Just a week after Prestige Hong Kong announced its bumper 808 third anniversary issue, Asia Tatler is claiming its 3,214-page Asia-wide September issue is the region's biggest.
Hong Kong Tatler has launched September with a record 808-page issue, the same as Prestige, but including Philippine Tatler with 356 pages and nine other markets across Asia, Tatler climbs to 3,214 of luxury lifestyle content.
Hong Kong Tatler's issue will be supported with the Tatler Ball, which takes place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 11 September.
"It's an example of how Edipresse Asia continues to aim for, and achieve, greater standards," Barrie C Goodridge, CEO of Edipresse Asia and publisher of the Asia Tatler, said.
Launched in 1977, Hong Kong Tatler has expanded to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Korea, Shanghai and Beijing. The most recent additions are Macau Tatler and Taiwan Tatler.
