Regional - Tribal DDB Shanghai and Hong Kong have launched a digital campaign aimed at showcasing the Philips 800 Series Shaver as well as to persuade young Chinese male professionals to see the act of shaving as a cool and enjoyable process.
To attract the target audience, the website features three ‘hot' Philips advisors in Victoria, Jennifer and Angelina to educate the user about the benefits of the new shaver. The website is also supported with online media blogs and viral promotions, attempting to generate discussion on what is normally considered a private activity.
"Our aim is to transform a traditionally taboo grooming activity into something cool and enjoyable, and our grooming advisors provide an entertaining but also indispensable element to the angle, helping educate young men about using a first class shaver," Adam Good, president of Asia Pacific for tribal DDB said in a statement.
