MindShare's Yadav heads to Aegis

Singapore - Aegis Media has hired MindShare's director Sunil Yadav to join the team in Singapore as its investment management director for Aegis Media Asia Pacific.

He will be responsible for developing and implementing processes for investment management, ensuring there is a greater media value return for all Aegis Media clients.

Yadav's main focus will be creating and setting all media buying benchmarks across 14 countries across Asia to its delivery value, which it hopes will help to convert more regional pitches as well as create multi-platform deals with key media owners and consolidate spends.

Sunil has been in the media and research industry for more than nine years and has handled key accounts like LG and Lenovo.

MindShare has decided not to employ a direct replacement for Yadav, with director Jean Lee taking on additional responsibilities.

Yadav was also with Starcom in India, responsible for strategic planning on the Proctor & Gamble account among others, as well as assisting on business pitches.

Patrick Stahle, CEO of Aegis Media APAC, said Yadav brings in-depth branding and product positioning experience.

"This is important as we continue to enhance our communications planning and digital media capabilities, however, media buying continues to represent the majority of our business," Stahle said.
