Ad 'superheroes' Moove on cabs to HOF

Singapore - In the bid to create more awareness for the Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards, Moove Media, one of the sponsors, has launched a CEO-fronted campaign named, "Singapore needs a few more marketing heroes".

Thirty taxis pasted with the taxi wraps will help draw attention to the "Advertising Professional of the Year Award", which hopes to promote the concept of marketing heroes, creative mavericks, movers and shakers and innovative minds as heroes.

The ad treatment is developed around the idea of industry leaders being likened to Marvel comic book heroes. Three executions have been created by DDB's Head of Art, Francis Tan, which are actually the digitally enhanced versions of the MD of McCann Universal China, Manpreet Singh (formerly MD of Mindshare Singapore); CEO of TNBT, Palani Pillai and president and CEO of DDB Worldwide David Tang.

"It is a valuable opportunity for Moove Media to be sponsoring this year's "Advertising Professional of the Year Award", with the objective of selecting the most outstanding CEO who is passionately involved in advertising. The industry needs more of such creative and innovative personnel who dare to make a difference. By recognising their efforts, we hope to encourage more to make their mark in this industry, for the industry. This is also very much in line with what Moove Media has been trying to do all these years - to be different and always improving and creating new ways of out-of-home advertising," Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media said.
