Singapore - Volkswagen Group Singapore's creative account has been handed to an agency run by former-M&C Saatchi ECD, Richard Johnson.
M&C Saatchi Singapore previously held the account before it was announced the agency would shut its advertising business to focus on strategic consulting and accountable / response-driven media.
VW Group Singapore's GM for communications, Achim Glogowski confirmed the news explaining that Johnson had "got together a team" to pitch for the business. "His creative was outstanding and he had a good understanding of the VW brand," he said.
Glogowski said Johnson's new agency would launch next week but he declined to reveal further information about the company. At press time, Johnson would only confirm the new agency will launch next week but declined to reveal its name.
