Singapore - Courts has confirmed former DDB account director Yvonne Low was appointed as marketing director to lead its in-house marketing studio which is currently being housed at DDB - as a result, Christina Oliver has moved to the director of customer service role.
Low's appointment to lead the new in-house Courts marketing initiative was widely tipped to happen by the media, and she'll start her new role on 1 September 2008, having recently been of assistance to the retail giant to drive its Furniture Charter initiatives as well as map out a year-long marketing plan with the marketing team. The in-house marketing studio will move to the Courts premises in October this year.
Oliver, the former director of marketing at Courts, will assume the new director of customer service role in October. She will continue to work on a part-time basis so she can spend more time with her son.
Both Low and Oliver will report to Singapore country lead, James Friel. Following the departure of head of communications and planning, Tammy Teo, Low will also take on external communications activities while internal communications will be managed by office administration manager Agnes Lau and the Courts HR team.
