Malaysia – Malaysia Airlines has refuted reports its creative account, held by Ogilvy & Mather, has come under review, indicating a separate ongoing pitch for a project, which has attracted much interest from agencies, as a possible cause for the confusion.
Indira Nair who is Malaysia Airlines senior GM reiterated that in the past two-years, WPP agencies Ogilvy and Mather and MindShare have been and are still working with the airlines.
“At the same time, we have been repeatedly approached by agencies who indicate an interest to work with us.
“We currently have a project which is in planning stages and we felt this would be an opportunity to open up this particular project to a few interested agencies,” she said, adding that there were tight timelines tagged to the project.
Nair also declined to divulge the names of the agencies involved in the pitch.
