Etihad names new country manager

Malaysia - Etihad Airways has appointed Adam Phillips as its new country manager for Malaysia, replacing Lindsay White who has moved to become Etihad's country manager in Australia.

Phillips has ten years of aviation experience and comes to KL from his current role as Etihad Airways' head of alliances in Abu Dhabi.

"Adam has a great understanding of the aviation industry, particularly in Asia and the Far East, and he will be able to use this experience to great effect in his new post as Malaysia country manager," Geert Boven, Etihad Airways' executive vice president sales and services said.

Prior to joining Etihad, Phillips worked at Gulf Air where he was head of alliances and schedule distribution. He was also network and alliances manager for Ansett / Air New Zealand.
