AUNM pursues ad deal after acquisition

Hong Kong - Zhong Guan Group, a subsidiary of Blower Investment, has signed an agreement with Guangdong Television to be the exclusive advertising agent of the Guangdong Satellite TV.

AUNM, a satellite channel operator and entertainment content provider in China, said by combining Guangdong Satellite TV and Travel Channel, the group will own and manage gross annual advertising value reaching RMB 6 million.

Under the advertising agreements, Zhong Guan Group will have exclusive rights to sell and distribute advertising resources of Guangdong Television including airtime for three years starting in January 2009, in addition to its existing ad agency rights for 2008.

Guangdong Television, which broadcasts in both China and Hong Kong, ranked 13th in China's market share, with Guangdong Satellite TV channel second in viewership in Guangdong Province with 2 billion viewers worldwide, according CSM Media's 2006 survey.

Edward Tian Suning, chairman of Asian Union, commented the group is creating more synergies across different media platform to further enhance its leadership position in China media industry and accelerate growth for its shareholders.

Zhong Guan Group was recently acquired by Asian Union New Media Group.
