Singapore - Samsung Electronics has launched a comprehensive range of large-format display (LFD) products which aid media owners in providing digital solutions for marketers, as it hopes to hit a local sales target of US$27 million.

"Samsung has built tremendous momentum in the LFD segment last year achieving close to 90% growth to reach US$276.8 million globally. This year we plan to expand our marketing presence in Singapore and the region with an extended range of large-format display monitors and innovative solutions to meet the needs of our corporate customers," Samsung Asia's Darren Goh GM (IT businesses) of electronic business division said.

There are different series of products in the LFD range with varied features which segment and target marketers who require specialized solutions. This is possible through the ease in which third party vendors can be added into the marketing solution platform - increasing the depth in which the range is able to be utilised.

For example in an OOH retail landscape there can be touch-screen directional maps with interactive content, marketing and advertising messages that can be easily updated and even store surveillance. This empowers marketers across various touch points in the retail experience. Also with the option of pre-scheduling content, remote wireless control and even trouble-shooting problems offsite, media owners will be able to reduce display downtime and labour costs.
