Emphasis Media set to publish CNN Traveller
Hong Kong- Emphasis Media, a PubliGroupe company, has won the contract to publish CNN Traveller magazine, with the first issue scheduled to be published early 2009.
CNN Traveller magazine is a bimonthly publication that has two editions, one for Europe, Middle East and Africa and the other for Asia Pacific. It is available on newsstands in key markets globally, CNN International partner hotels, airline lounges and inflight.
The group is currently setting up a full service office in London to manage the account. The group said the office will serve as a key development in its global expansion plans.
"We are extremely excited about the new partnership and we are eagerly looking forward to producing a top quality magazine that will inspire, inform and entertain readers," Jovita Toh, MD of Emphasis Media commented.
Angelo Gidding, Emphasis Media's publishing director, said CNN Traveller is a momentous step for Emphasis.
The motive of this partnership is unknown. Emphasis has refused to comment until its second wave of communication is held.
Emphasis Media has partnered with several regional magazines including luxury quarterly magazine Are You? CENTRAL for Hong Kong Land.
