Singapore – The successful candidate will develop global purchasing processes and analyse, evaluate and propose best-in-class practices related to international procurement organisation and supply chain.

Role description:

-To lead, develop, improve or implement consistent global purchasing processes to meet company worldwide inventory and service level goals
-Work with global purchasing executives, cross-functional teams & suppliers to drive supply chain speed & flexibility through improved processes to support world area manufacturing sites (WAMS)
-Establish and administer policies or guidelines related to global purchasing in international procurement organisation (IPO) and ensure compliance with WAMS trade, import / export & ICQ requirements
-Prepare time & cost schedules to insure the commitments of resources & return of investments for current / proposed plan or projects
-Analyze, evaluate & propose best in class practices related to IPO and supply chain
-Support IPO in the integration of IPO processes with global sites, intercompany & external suppliers, cross functional departments and other Divisions
-Carry out analysis and report findings on business processes, problems, issues, systems functionality enhancements (Oracle, JDE, etc.) or improvements related to global purchasing
-Support IPO in defining the IPO strategy & roadmap; prepare detail plans and execution of complex projects or programs.

Requirements:

-Master's Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain/ Logistics or equivalent
-Preferably 3 years relevant experience in similar capacity
-Working knowledge of MRP (Oracle / JDE), supply chain and/or global supply chain initiatives / processes
-Excellent project management, change management, problem solving, negotiation, software application, interpersonal & communication skills
